The Tampa Bay Builders Association Remodelers Council is a part of the Tampa Bay community. We may have built a pool in your neighbor's backyard; restored a historical gem in Ybor City; made a home more comfortable for an aging family; helped a business get up to code by installing a wheel chair ramp. One of the most amazing things about being in the building industry is well, building for others and making a difference.

A teenage son was shot in the neck during a home invasion. The trauma left him paralyzed from the neck down. In order for him to return home upon leaving a rehabilitation facility in Miami, his home's bedroom and bathroom needed to be remodeled to allow for handicap accessibility. The Tampa Bay Builder's Association Remodelers Council took up the task to make the son's bedroom and bath accessible.
Through volunteer work and in kind donations of materials and cash, the Remodelers Council completed this ‘Accessible Bath Renovation' project which allowed for the son's return home at no cost to the family.
